The Effect of Different Agroecological Zones on Body Weight Change, Litter Size, and Profitability of Bligon Goats in Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta

This study aims to identify the differences in agroecological zones on changes body weight, litter size, and profitability of Bligon goats Bantul District, Special Region Yogyakarta. involved 56 farmers consisting 11 coastal areas (zone IV), 21 lowlands 24 hilly (zones I, II, III). also used 120 does 40 from each area. The were selected by purposive sampling technique different classified based slope land. design was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with as a treatment factor. survey method. Data analyzed descriptively quantitatively using one-way ANOVA at 5% level. results showed that weight beginning kidding three months or weaning period did not have significant difference, size significantly different.
